TWEEDSMUIR CAMP

On the occasion of their daughters wedding celebrations,13th September 1969,Mr and Mrs RYZNER entertain the joyful RADWANSKI family Stan KACZOR and MRS CZERTKO.

The Ladies enjoying a day out in Portsmouth on 5th August 1950 and include Pani GILOWA , Pani RYZNER and Pani ZAREMBA.

The wedding of MR and MRS KLAPTOCZ in June 1951 In Tweedsmuir Camp.My father who is standing to the right of the groom was best man.Father BYSTRY is directly behind the happy couple.

TWEEDSMUIR CAMP

In St Edmunds Hall,Godalming,we see Father Joseph BYSTRY celebrating 25 years as a Parish Priest.(1943 to 8th May 1968).The following pictures detail that special day in May 1968  with many young and old parishioners present.The pictures that follow have been supplied by Anna PLACHECKA ,a close relation to Father BYSTRY and who visited him in 1972.Anna continues to live in Poznan, Poland.Father BYSTRY born 14th January 1915 died 26th August 1976 aged 61 years.

TWEEDSMUIR CAMP

On our way to the Turbacz and the Bridge gives way with me on it.Kaz RYZNER is looking alarmed as I have disappeared under water.I turned up down stream and needed medical assistance for scrapes and bruises.The 2015 attempt to climb the Turbacz finished here however plans are afoot for 2016 after the re-building of the Bridge to Far.28th September 2015.

TWEEDSMUIR CAMP

Korona Kielce FC   2010

Peter PIETRUSIEWICZ and Kaz RYZNER visiting the 10th Anniversary Stadium in Warsaw in 1998 which was opened  22nd of July 1955, condemned in  1980  and used as a bazaar JARMARK EUROPA and demolished in Sept 2008 to make way for the New National Stadium.

Piotr PIETRUSIEWICZ with Kaz RYZNER visiting the new National Stadium on 6-10-2014 in Warsaw.( built on the site of the old Stadium as shown in the above picture) A few days later Poland beat Germany 2-0 in a European Qualifying game for the 2016 Finals for which Poland Qualified and lost to the eventual winners Portugal.
Piotr PIETRUSIEWICZ inspecting the under foot condition of the Kielce City Stadium 16th September 2010 the venue of the 2017 under 21 European Competition kicking off on Friday 18th June.Poland play England here on Thursday 22nd June 2017.

Kaz Ryzner at last finding his true position on the pitch.....16th September 2010 in truth a trial for his beloved Korona Kielce.The Kielce City Stadium has a capacity of 15550.

On the evening of 17th September 2010 Kaz and I attend the Stadion Miejski Krakow to witness the first game after a major rebuilding project ( a major part of the ground was still in complete ) with Wisla Krakow playing Korona Kielce  in the Polish Ekstraklasa League. The result was a draw.....the capacity of the new stadium is now officially 33130.

Kaz RYZNER appears to be satisfied with the result.

Visited the PGE Arena in Gdansk on 9th September 2014.Home of Lechia Gdansk.The PGE Arena was officially opened on 6th August 2011 just in time for one of the venues of the 2012  European Championships ( four matches played in total ).         

Peter PIETRUSIEWICZ and Kaz RYZNER reach the top of the Turbacz mountain for the third year in a row.A momentous day that was Saturday 11th October 2014 with us reaching the summit on a beautiful sunny day and Poland beating Germany in the European Qualifier  2-0 later in the day.

At the World Cup Qualifier Poland v England on 31st May 1997 in Stadion Slaski , Katowicka, Chorzow. I am supporting the underdogs and the underdogs were beaten 2-0.This was the road to the 1998 World  Cup Finals in France.
Still supporting the underdog......a Team that won the English Premiership Football Competition in the season 2015/16.

TWEEDSMUIR

The Polish Group completed a short 12 mile walk including climbing the GOLDEN CAP  pm on Friday 8th August 2014.Starting and Finishing in  Whitchurch Canonicorum and taking a circular route the Polish Group returned unscathed having taken lunch in Chideock.( ignore red broken line above )What followed was tea and homemade apple pie.( the real objective was to try and kill me off... you must try harder next time boys !!! )Details of the group below.

TWEEDSMUIR


Piotr PIETRUSIEWICZ and Kaz RYZNER having reached the top of the TURBACZ mountain ( Gorczanski Park Narodowy ) 9th October 2012. Last climbed in July 1975 as the picture below shows.In 1975 Kaz ran up the mountain and I was some distance behind and am still recovering. We again made the top in September 2013 and are hoping to do so again this year 2014.

TWEEDSMUIR CAMP.Late visit to the Camp on the day of my Mothers Funeral 5th May 2011.(Mum passed away on 18th April 2011) In the picture is Terenia HUSTON (nee KESEK ) who I call the "Angel " as she features in the early photographs with Father Christmas and the Devil. In the background a hint of blue bells.The " Angel " sadly passed away in early July 2014.May she rest in peace.
